A frank, rich and lively wine with firm tannins, lovely fruit and remarkable freshness, with aromas of black fruit.

Juliénas, which according to its etymology takes its name from Julius Caesar, lies at the gateway to the Beaujolais vineyards and covers 580 hectares.

Terroir: Granite soil with veins of manganese.

Tasting notes: This Juliénas is a well-built wine with aromas of cherry, hot chocolate and pear. Structured and balanced, it has good length on the palate, with light tannins that give it good ageing potential.

Grape: Gamay noir à jus blanc.
