Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful. Please drink responsibly. Belgian law sets the legal age at 16 for wine and fermented beer, and 18 for spirits and other strong alcohols. Our commercial policy sets a single threshold of 18 across the entire catalogue, stricter than the legal minimum. By placing an order, the customer certifies being of legal age.
These general terms govern sales concluded via vinsclaudio.com between Claudio Vins & Spiritueux (hereafter “the seller”) and any adult natural person or legal entity making a purchase (hereafter “the customer”).
The products offered are those listed in the catalogue published on the site, subject to available stock. Photographs and descriptions are as faithful as possible but do not bind the seller in the event of a minor variation (vintage, label).
Prices are shown in euros, all Belgian taxes included. Delivery is free from €200; below that a €15 (VAT incl.) delivery charge applies. The Seller reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force at the moment the order is placed.
The order is validated after acceptance of these general terms and payment. A confirmation email is sent to the customer.
Payment is made online by bank card or Bancontact, via the secure Stripe payment platform. The order is prepared as soon as payment is effectively received.
Deliveries are made in Belgium (free from €200, €15 VAT incl. below) and, on request, in certain countries of the European Union. The customer can also collect the order free of charge at the cellar, during opening hours.
The announced delivery times are given for information only. If the order has not been delivered within 30 days from payment, the consumer customer may, after a formal notice that has remained without effect, cancel the order and obtain full reimbursement of the amounts paid (article VI.43 of the Code of Economic Law). These terms do not derogate from the rights of the consumer customer.
In accordance with articles VI.47 et seq. of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the consumer customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to justify a reason. The products must be returned in their original packaging, unopened and in perfect condition. Return costs are borne by the customer, save for any contrary agreement.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to opened bottles, nor to personalised products (e.g.: bottle engraving, custom gift set), in accordance with article VI.53 of the Code of Economic Law.
Model withdrawal form: to exercise this right, the customer may send the form below to contact@vinsclaudio.com or by post to the address of the registered office:

The sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 is strictly prohibited. By placing an order, the customer certifies on their honour to be of legal age. The seller reserves the right to verify the customer's age and to refuse or cancel any order in case of doubt.
In accordance with articles 1701/1 et seq. of Book 1bis of the Belgian Civil Code (law of 20 May 2022, in force since 1 June 2022, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771), products benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of two years from delivery. Any conformity defect appearing in the first twelve months is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise.
A taste or organoleptic preference for a wine (vintage, oxidation, natural evolution in bottle) does not constitute a conformity defect within the meaning of the legal guarantee.
In accordance with regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and regulation (EU) 2021/2117, our wines bear the required labelling information. Wines containing more than 10 mg/L of sulphites carry the indication “contains sulphites”. The ingredients and nutritional declaration of wines marketed since December 2023 are accessible via the QR code shown on the label.
The seller's liability cannot be engaged in the event of non-performance due to force majeure, a third party's action, or the customer's fault. The seller cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the products sold.
The limitations of liability provided for in these terms do not apply in the event of fraud, gross negligence, or breach of essential obligations. No provision of these terms affects the mandatory rights granted to the consumer customer by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact the seller first at contact@vinsclaudio.com in order to seek an amicable solution. The seller undertakes to reply within 7 working days.
Failing agreement, the consumer customer may refer to:
The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform set up by Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was discontinued on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. For cross-border B2C disputes, the national Consumer Mediation Service remains competent pending the revised transposition of the ADR Directive.
These terms are subject to Belgian law. For B2B relationships, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Brabant Wallon Enterprise Court. For relationships with a consumer customer, the statutory rules of jurisdiction apply.
