Clos La Gaffelière - St Emilion Grand Cru 2013

Grapes: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc

Colour: Deep purple with a violet rim.

Nose: Floral, but also ripe fruit (strawberries, blueberries).

Palate: This second wine of Château La Gaffelière has a very soft texture; the tannins are fine and the fruit both ripe and fresh, delicious and well concentrated. The finish has a saline touch (from the limestone terroir) that refreshes the palate and makes you want another glass.
