Château Saint Julien d'Aille Blanc

The white of the Saint Julien cuvée from Château Saint Julien d'Aille in Vidauban: 97% Rolle and 3% Sémillon from organically farmed vines, aged in traditional vats. Best enjoyed within its first two years.

Very pale, bright colour with green glints. Intense, fine and delicate nose of pear with a spicy hint of immortelle flower. Fresh, soft palate with a lovely, thirst-quenching flow. Serve at 10-12°C with grilled or poached fish (sea bass, sea bream, turbot), Mediterranean vegetables or white meat in sauce.
